In the weeks leading up to 2012′s highly anticipated Super Bowl, Denizen joined Budweiser to seed their Flash Fans ad. Aired in the Canadian market during the big game, the spot featured a flash-mob style surprise takeover of a minor league hockey game.

Generating over 2 million views within a few days, and over 3.2 million in just over one week, the ad and the distribution method forced Forbes magazine to ask “will the best Super Bowl spot be about hockey, Canadian, and not even on the broadcast?”
